There are no limits as to how much money can be raised. The limit is the current authorized number of shares that can be issued to raise money. With AVR that's 400 million. Hopefully fully paid shares will never get anywhere even remotely close to that limit. But you are correct, as with any clinical-stage company that will need to raise funds in the future, it's all about dilution and how much dilution it will take to get to the point of actually selling devices or drugs.
Around $12.5 million USD revenue should be generated from the sale of DurAVR's during the trial but it will take a good bit more than that plus cash on hand to get to approval and commercial sales.
