Tata as a company didn't invest in Syntonic, several people closely connected to it did. Originally there were 5 of them each with over 16M shares. Now only Laxmi Gupta & Deepak Mittal have those same holdings. The other 3 have either reduced there holdings to something below 12.1M shares or have sold out completely, we simply can't tell any more than that.
