Oregon hemp production lawsuits may offer lessons for farmers
Be interesting to see how these forward contracts/hedging( hemp production contracts) for the sale of their product is worded for CLI .
Note best farming practices is a very vague loose term.
Hoping they have some kind of very thorough written up APC that will definitely work me.
Or do they need one at all and their arrangements for the sale of the hemp are completely different? Eg forward sell say only 75-80% at a certain price and rest is optional or lower price or go open market? Which covers them if there is a lower yielding crop etc.
A lot more to this business than first meets the eye.
