    Oh, that post is suppose to reply to previous poster saintex referring to the fact FY23 price is doing better than inferred due to it being 3 years average instead of 12 month average price. The problem is on the same page we can see that they changes their reporting for size and marketable grade aswell.

    Now, me personally i have zero knowledge about pearl, i don't have a clue how to calculate the size nor the price based on the number given, but i would assume a lower size and marketable would be a negative for the company. In fact, if we arrived at a lower base for 5 years average compared to previous 4 year, that means this year is doing significantly worse than it looks with price being the only one that is doing really well.

    While a high price would be great, i don't think it is something the company can control ( which means it might/ might not be sustainable going forward unless there is a structural changes).

    Hopefully we can get more transparency on their assumption otherwise we are just speculating
