I added 250k shares today by selling non-performers. My view is that shares such as ATP are illiquid in part because very few investors know of, or follow closely, the business. I imagine very few people have access to the auction data published here by hotcongo and ResGloStocks. Stocks such as ATP are under-researched (there are no broker research notes etc) and share prices are inefficient. They thus offer a rare opportunity to exploit market failure. In such situations, it’s not a bad idea to fill your boots, and then gradually take profits as the market catches on eventually. It may be that is what the seller is doing.
