Regarding how this will work for 3rd party clients and OEM's is a very good question on whether the reference design of NUH as per client needs is applied specifically or a type of firmware change/adjustment is made to the chip in point A, that i am not sure about and I have not been able to get details or any information on how that would work.

However if we look at other examples in other industries, say audio or computers etc, the process that would make the most sense to me is to be using the same chip and simply adjusting the firmware. That would be the simplest, cheapest and most flexible solution.
