I have little doubt that the failing sp is primarily due to the delay in both the MIC and repatriation of funds from Angola.
Wind the clock back eleven years and not much has changed. From memory, the Angolans were, once again, playing hard ball so Miles threatened to write to the Australian Ambassador to Angola.
It spooked the sp, and sent it diving down to .4¢ for a brief moment. I think we closed at .6¢.
We need to put that into perspective!
That .4¢ was pre the 30:1 and 5:1 share consolidations, so today that drop to .4¢ was equivalent to 60¢.
