No one is saying they shouldn’t get paid, of course they should. The issue is, the incredibly low bar they have set for these amidst the most lacklustre period in the company’s history. Whether or not it was a generic phrase ie. “performance linked incentives to align with shareholders”, that’s an absolute p*take. I would actually vote for them at 10.5c had they attempted to attach a couple of reasonable performance incentives. Imagine if there is news pre GM and the sp pushes over and above 10.5c, the options (using the same model from the ann’) would put their dollar value closer to $500k….each!!!
