Agreed so I thought $500m is the likely figure based on $55 a barrel for jet fuel and the $600m is likely best case based on passenger numbers and the $400 again is lowest case based on passenger numbers which is why I think it is so wide because they are being conservative on the impact of competition and I suspect they're overplaying the downside not unlike what Costello used to do here with the budgets before announcing better results and everyone thinking him number 1 for it...
Here is the latest from IATA on jet fuel price and the world average jet fuel price looks to be heading for $60 though in Asia its $57.90 as of 30th Sep - this is why I think we're seeing whats happening with the sp now in that some may well think jet fuel will go higher for longer..
