I've posted this a few times - its the jet fuel price around the world delayed by a few days - AIZ buy out of Asia & Oceania:

We know what we need to watch and that is: 1. jet fuel price & 2. passenger numbers and the revenue per km for carrying those passengers and we get these numbers every month from the airline.
Look at the recent prices above and note we are still 2.5% lower in jet fuel price then this time last year when AIZ was $2.50 a share and Virgin was draining on the books..
