If you have a product that is in so much demand that you can't keep up, why would you reduce the selling price? Seems odd to me. My guess is that they are trying to generate more demand by becoming more competitive in order to use up the extra capacity they are creating. Therefore to assume that a doubling of capacity would mean a doubling of turnover would be optimistic and maybe it will take some time to use up that existing capacity.
