Hi Chopsthecat
The report to ASX of 9th March gives results for only two samples of silver in the tailings dump:
22.20% fluorine, 8.60 g/t silver and 0.12% copper in sample I21007; and
26.00% fluorine, 165.00 g/t silver, 0.14% copper, 3.83% lead and 0.37% zinc in sample I21012.
Is that low, medium, or high concentration?
"The concentration of silver in U.S. deposits from which silver is economically minable as the principal product at 2001 silver prices was typically about four orders of magnitude greater than the crustal average, or about 700 g/t."
https://www.researchgate.net/post/What_is_the_concentration_of_silver_in_economically_minable_deposits
That was 2001, when silver prices were low - around $8 an ounce. The price today is $25.30 per ounce, so if the higher of the two samples continues at Ivittuut, then maybe there is a commercial source of silver there.
However, I shall wait to see the road literally paved in silver before buying.
