If this process works well and in a timely fashion ,I do believe that it will be the start of a uptrend in the share price ,may even see a 50% plus gap up in the share price on the day of the announcement if all goes to plan with the process.
The fact that the brine being sent has been pre treated ,may mean that it can be directly fed into the test plant ,so timelines could be a lot sooner than many may think.
A bit more info on the pre treated brine would have been nice ,but I guess management is keeping there cards close to there chest for now.

The process worked for 1kg so it shouldn't be a problem producing 20kg.
An indication of economic viability is still needed as well as ASN commissioning a pilot plant of their own that can produce Tonnes instead of Kgs.
