The targeted average grade of Lithium is 200ppm.
The targeted average grade of Bromine is 4000ppm.
Bromine sells for about 50% of the price of Lithium.
Bromine is cheaper to produce compared to Lithium.
Working of the above figures the in ground Lithium is only valued at about 10% of the Bromine.
So lets say 100 million dollars worth of Bromine is sold at a profit of ? with 10 million dollars worth of Lithium lost in waist water that would have cost x amount to produce.
Bromine profits can then be used to build other section of the plant or plants to produce other minerals saving shareholder a lot of dilution ,meaning more profits per share unit held.
So who cares about a pissy amount of other mineral loss while the company makes some coin.
