Different governments have alternate policies and with both US & Aust viewing political change the nuclear option should soon become a lot clearer.
One can only hope. I know Trump is a supporter of Small Modular Reactors so watch that space.

My preferred options for electricity supply are:
Solar Panels, Vertical Axis Wind Vane Generators and Battery Storage on all buildings for Renewables, and SMR for Base Load

The issue we have right now is that Electricity Grids are not currently capable of delivering the Renewable Energy outcomes with $trillions of upgrades required.
SMR therefore the best option we have right now for the existing infrastructure.

I know it's Off Topic to discuss the world political scene here, but it's never been more relevant to all holders and where we should all be doing a lot of critical analysis while free speech still exists
