I don't think the issue is with the resource upgrade itself, that can only be positive. My main issue is the timeline that ASN have been following for the past 3-5 years. It occasionally appears that no actual forward progress is achieved. The PFS/ DFS and "fast-tracking" approach seems like it has been coming for years, and to no avail.
Very few announcements in the past 12 months have appeared material. 2 steps forwards, one step back it seems. I understand that you need to get your ducks in a row, but ASN are taking a very long time to do so, and covid is no excuse. IMO we are marginally ahead of where we were pre-covid.
At this stage the "fast-track approach" is actually turning out to be a 6-8 years til production from 2017. But I suppose that's what you get when you outsource everything.
Could happen, could not happen. Time will tell. GLTA, its still in the bottom draw for another 12 months.
