What ANSTO have said is it is not a “Class 7”radioactive product, meaning it’s less than 10Becquerels/gram (Bq/gm) radioactivity and so is not classified as “Dangerous Goods” for transport. That doesn’t mean it’s not radioactive.

Lynas concentrate is also below 10 Bq/gm, but as we know from the Malaysian Govt, its still radioactive.

Thanks for your opinion BUT I will rely on Dr Steffens who unlike yourself is qualified in this field of expertise.

If you read the announcement you will find that he has conducted the test work.
