You engage in the further topic of scientific expertise (which IS relevant insofaras it applies to how we are to extend, protect and maximise commercialisation of these patents in terms of personnel) and then tell us it's offtopic?

One thing is for sure: this is a race to the finish. If you think that delays or diversions based on expertise or lack of, is a good thing for ADO in it's current pivotal position, I'd think again.
