If ADO was told to 'go away' then i suspect the wording of that announcement would have been "discussions have not come to fruition..". Not further trials or data is needed before the battery markets adopt and risk the tech...
In my opinion the current battery market and especially the EV market is primed to adopt new tech and all the battery companies will be asked how to get that extra mile or to have batteries recharge quicker....
