No. But we can't rely on there being enough POC1 s or hand held devices to clip, for ADO to have a sustainable business model.

The alternative is to use money from the one off sale of the battery tech to finance ADO becoming a diagnostics company in it's own right.

That would really be a vanity project, but I wouldn't put it past GC and the ex Roches of this world to try it.
Even though they only worked at Roche or other multinationals. They had the heft of such a huge multinational behind them in any dealings, so they have no clue how hard it is to establish yourself in a crowded market*. Where there are already sweet deals with doctors to stick with the brands they know.

After all, it's not their money.

IMO it would be massively stupid to sell the battery tech outright, but it seems to be what's being planned.

If people refuse to take this mob to task we deserve what we're going to get.

The Shareholder's Association don't act placidly and worry about being popular. Nor should we. This is about money, not popularity contests.

* and before you say GC is at Sienna Cancer Diagnostics, the operative word is 'cancer'. That makes them unique. Vitamin D testing etc makes us pretty ordinary. Nobody cares. As Josh Soldo proved. It will be extremely expensive to set up in competition with ordinary diagnostics companies. Vanity project.
