The more I think about what has been announced, the more positive I'm about this new direction.
In the past, each of the last two CEO only focused on that halo deal that would instantly turn the company into a billion dollar company, wanting to sprint before they can crawl, but they've all neglected the fact that we need time and capital to do that and in hindsight, that idea was never sustainable.
Whilst under Merrill, it seems like she understands what it takes to grow a sustainable business from the ground up. Reverting back to our existing saleable products, existing clients or ex-partners who knows our products, and build up a pipeline of smalls sales, one collaboration at a time.
Our biggest concern has always been capital requirements and CRs, but if we can get each partner to chip in $50k, $100k, $200k, we will soon become cashflow neutral and then from there, we can go for the bigger fishes whilst being able to stay afloat without tapping into shareholders' pockets.
Obviously nothing is guaranteed at this end of town, but I'd much rather this approach than just shooting for the stars and falling flat on our faces.
