lol. If my experience on HC is anything to go by, disgruntled holders don't get shaken out, they just stay on HC and whinge for years. So that seems like a dumb strategy.
Almost as dumb as pricing cap raise at 30% discount plus free oppies*2 pricing it closer to 2c than people clearly realised. And it's no surprise market sells down to this level.
What I don't get is how this could be oversubscribed? Surely that's a massive misstep from management to price at horrible level and end up oversubscribed. Giving existing shareholders the middle finger with dilution and guaranteed share price destruction basically.
Oh well, all will be forgiven if they can sign something soon, and all will be lost if they don't.
