To raise capital (NO) or to welcome a cornerstone investor (NO), merge (NO) etc does not only fulfill
the funding needs of a company but also allows the joining partner (NO)/ sophisticated investor (NO) to particiapte at a discounted price (NO) level to sweeten the deal prior (NO) to revenue increases (YES) and braoder positive outlook (YES) for the company.
I guess it's not complete rubbish...
