To add, there have been 64 million confirmed virus cases world wide so far.
Are they going to be vaccinated, will they feel the need to, or do they even want to risk it as
side effects can not be predicted yet as those years of monitoring after trial 3 has not yet occurred?

For those who had been infected previously, are they going to jump into a queue to get vaccinated when they do not know how their immune system is going to react and further reactions are basically unknown?

Many cases of reinfections are showing increased severity.
    Second cases often need hospitalisation.
What are the possible side effects for those who already had the virus when vaccinated?

A rapid test is harmless, immediate and the best tool to control the spread of the virus for the period of rolling out vaccines with all the possible hiccups and immense logistical and long term questions attached.
Tests are cheap, fast and ours is accurate.
This is a tool which needs to be available especially as the virus keeps mutating.
We will end up with permanent multiplex tests for flu and COVID and if we can
cover 60% of cases over time with the vaccine we will have done very well.
The over 90% covering rate currently advertised is unrealistic to be upheld in reality when virologists are asked.
Otherwise, how can we not control the flu is such numbers?
Corona viruses are tricky and extremely adaptable. There will most likely be strains of resistance and mutations to circumvent vaccination to some degree.
Even a 5 degree success rate by the virus to do so, which is highly likely, will necessitate another year of testing until hat is brought under control.

As an economic sidestep, the coordinated positive vaccination news were used in the US to drive the market to new highs ( interesting how they all reported simultaneously within a week of each other when Pfizer's CEO the moment to grab a handy 6 mil dollars in selling his stock on the day reporting ) just as it was decided to cut COVID support measures to millions of American families after xmas.
The financial fallout will be massive.

To create a rally of such proportion just prior to that reality check is reckless and a sign of a possible sharp downturn when those numbers hit the market in falling
    consumer confidence and spending.
