Working in hospital gives one a viewpoint which allows one to have an opinion on what tests are actually needed( to be quick, in a hospital)

No point creating or taking up a test if a) if its time saving/sensitivity is extraneous to need
b) if it cant slot in to a current workflow/or exist happily alongside other tests
c) if no one knows how to do it , or its too foreign to learn or bother learning.

There are certain tests for which having quick turnarounds will be welcomed if they are easy enough, covid, sepsis and now flu.
Id say the existence of covid makes quick flu testing more important for delineation, I doubt a quick flu test would easily gain enough traction, in Australia for example, if covid didnt exist, for the reasons above. Multiplexing is a no brainer if they can muster a few variants, particularly with some antibody variants as vaccines proliferate.
Sepsis - fast turnaround and confirmation should also be welcomed as it helps with clinical decision making in often deteriorating patients.

We can have clinical gold but imo, the strategy for proliferating this should be pointed to jurisdictions which make the above points less of a hurdle, or to jurisdictions which are keen to overcome these issues due to dire need. I trust we are thinking of this now.

Even for commercial uses such as international flight theres a need to address points above, although these areas of testing would be novel and process is developed in a greenfield.
For example- from the moment you enter the terminal , WHEN is the best time to test, WHO is positioned to do said test, HOW can results be delivered with the least stress to the tested person? (IMO, its (preferably saliva) test at the check in, results at security check point prior to xray )

Id like to think ado in conjunction with Axxin have enough awareness that they have thought about having a set of process examples for potential customers and are working on an education program for implementation.

Weve had big players run the ruler over us before in this space and we came up with very little. Imo It wasnt because they thought the product didnt work, its more likely problems like a), b) and c) meant it was too much of a paradigm shift to bother.

Surely we cant stuff it up from here.
