Vatra & TDK (Trinseo too) are some of the listed suppliers to Apple (2022 list), However, TDK is the one applying 'next gen tech batteries" as of Jon 2024. Details are slim but it looks to be part of China build reductions with Foxconn & TDK setting up shop in India.
