What if there is just nothing more to report than has already been covered?
If you're not in the Executive, then you won't be in the loop for significant amounts of information. I was a Strategic Analyst reporting directly to the CEO in one company & there were occasions I & Ops Mgr were excused from Board meetings, so that Strategy discussion wasn't for anyone other than the Board. As a Shareholder yes there is an element of ownership, but not in any sense of sovereignty & governance.
