Im not sure that I could agree that we are ‘years away’.

If an EV company is testing our silicon anode prior to a design freeze, doesn’t that suggest that we are much closer. If we look at previously missed KPI’s regarding the signing of deals, doesn’t that also suggest that we are much closer in some respects?

DR was expecting deals before the end of last year as they had proposals on the table.

I had seen the batteries for consumer electronics as a bit of an interesting sideline, but given the state of our finances it would be progressed as and when money was available. This grant provides that money. In the grant wording regarding its purpose, it specifically states ‘purchase of equipment and upgrade of facilities.’
Doesn’t that wording suggest that the project was not a priority due to lack of funding? Now they have access to funding.

The problem with this announcement is that Anteo make too many assumptions on our knowledge and understanding while keeping us in the dark on actual real progress. If they insist on behaving this way then their announcements need to be far more specific.
