Bloody hell.
I hope we get our test TGA approved soon.
I came down with the man flu 5 days after visiting Vic to watch the footy, just when the WA outbreak happened and one got back into Vic.
So did the right thing and got tested once symptoms showed, and have been isolating at home ever since.
I am now at 30 hours waiting for a test result.
How long does it take to get a lab result, especially when almost no one in Tas is getting tested at the moment.
Surely a very accurate 15 minute test has to be way better for everyone involved rather than making people stay at home for up to 2 days waiting for results.
I can see people not getting tested if they think they aren’t infected rather than going through this.
Im not complaining and am happy to do the right thing, but bloody hell, 30 hours (so far).
I know there are people far worse off, but just venting my displeasure when I know there is a better way.
Our test can help the whole planet with both detecting positive cases and also negative ones in just 15 mins and people can get on with their life.
