I saw Norman Swan on The Project, Channel 10, tonight pushing for the use of Rapid Antigen across Australia to complement the current testing regime and to help keep Covid “at bay” whilst the roll-out of the Covid vaccination program progresses. Dr Swan reiterated the comments he made in an ABC interview that I saw yesterday (in an ADO post) about the “rivers of gold” flowing to the Laboratory companies and the pressure they exert on Governments to the detriment of Point of Care Raid testing. We can only hope that some Governments across Australia will push for TGA fast track approval to ADO’s RAT to assist with the unfolding situation in NSW and Victoria.
