One item we have not heard much on recently is the Anteocoat product no idea where it’s at but it has a lot to do with coating of silicon particles to limit expansion and contraction during cycling.

Very possible two very different Anteotech uses to two different companies but in one overall package, AnteoX binder additive for Trinseo and Anteocoat for the coating of the silicon for Ferroglobe.

Ferroglobe SFS don’t make binders but they do make silicon battery materials.
Trinseo don’t make silicon battery materials but they do make binders.
Anteo don’t make silicon materials but they do make surface coatings for them, Anteo don’t make binders but do make binder additives…


this was in 2018 an MTA to a major European supplier of battery materials to assess Anteocoat (likely Ferroglobe)

Then in 2019 and MOU with Ferroglobe SFS named as the partner

Now we have Trinseo/Ferro agreements along with Anteo/Ferro and Anteo/Trinseo agreements….The supply chain and overall silicon Anode solution is forming and some of the Anteo anode designs will highly likely incorporate both parties materials and binders.

The real question is who will be the bigger player at the top of this corporate threesome BMW, Tesla, Mercedes, Stellantis, Toyota, Volvo.

Plenty of breadcrumbs out there and the good Captain has had several of his bread crumbing connections proven 100% correct lately. Wouldn’t want to as be as closed minded and arrogant as some on here and discount many of the others he has kindly shared.
