i went through everything i could also gloucester to make sure i wasnt wrong. no live test i could see. thats been reiterated in the email correspondence today with another poster. stored samples only.
in hindisght it seems that ce mark was a moonshot but would have been huge. perhaps they were looking at uk samples as it may have helped getting ce mark over the line as opposed to prior collected out of jurisdiction ones.
theres two possible reasons we havent got saliva ce mark - old samples made results invalid, be it poor or immeasurable. - old samples are not up to a poc confirmation standard and the evaluator isnt happy putting a stamp on it for this reason.
given they are now testing for other test sites , the co seems keen to establish a comfortable test option, but they arent so sure on a saliva one. its anyones guess as to whether the co thinks thats because the saliva results were terrible, or that theyhave noted another issue inherent to saliva testing or they are just covering all bases because they can.
