This is really wonderful news.
The work being done prior to AVR's TAVR, DurAVR, being approved is perhaps EQUALLY as important as the work that will done AFTER it is approved.
The more partnerships and alliances AVR can forge with Australia's leading interventional cardiologists prior to their TAVR being approved the better.
Due to the relative small size of the Australian TAVR market and the relatively low number of interventional cardiologists performing the operation I believe there's an excellent chance that AVR could dominate the TAVR market within 2 years of the launch of DurAVR which would equate to serious $.
