From an investor point of view, this is a very positive announcement. Not because it assures anyone of anything in the long-term, but, short-term, it means RCE is developing a "platform technology" - a MUCH better profile for investors - MUCH better!
As to the question of the same "drug targeting multiple indications", research focused on that approach to medicine, is one of the hottest areas of medical research.
