I have thought that Recce was developing an antibiotic. And today we get an announcement that it is also anticancer. I would have thought that antibiotics and anticancer drugs are chalk and cheese. Is Reece telling us that they have one drug in lab that can all that or there are various drugs being tested by covered by the umbrella term of Reece antibiotics.
Again, I have no medical research or lab background but playing devil's advocate. If it is one drug that is both an antibiotic and an anticancer, what happens to when you use it for one purpose and not the other? So if I was to use the Reece drug for an antibiotic purpose, is the anticancer portion still active? In that case will there not be potential unwanted side effects unless there is a switch that can be flipped to switch the Reece drug from antibiotic to anticancer and vice versa.
Also is this in line with what Chemeq had with it's anti-cancer drug?
I know I might come across as being a doubting Thomas but having being stung before and seeing such discoveries in a short span of time... ...
Of course, I do agree that I might be totally wrong and totally miss the bus/plane to millions
