So hold on here - what Monkey cells are we talking about? What temperatures were the samples at? And why do we care what happens to a line of monkey Kidney cells, as doesn't the influenza virus go for the upper respiratory tract. Will the the Vero cells not be much more tolerant to temperature variation than the influenza virus. Was the dose straight out of the fridge? lol
All concerns are off the top of my head, as I really don't have much interest. It is interesting that the antibiotic is now being investigated as an anti viral. DYOR - I'm a very rusty Biochemist - lol.
I'd love them to succeed with a new antibiotic or antiviral. Just not enough info here to evaluate whether this is an attempt to pump up the SP, or genuine news IMO, but the fact such info is released as significant gets my spidey senses tingling all the same.
