I feel compelled to stand up for reality.

This war is only about empire building and wrestling control of world markets. Ukrainian lives will go down as history's greatest sacrifice to protect democracy from tyranny.

By your logic, forget gold prices and free markets - that will be a thing of the past if democracy rolls over and plays dead.

It's infuriating to think that people like you cannot see what is at stake; all the benefits we have been born into evaporate when these evil characters get their way. Go and speak to some locals in Siberia or Pyongyang about how great life is under a dictator.

Returning to gold's value, yep, it's always been valued to humans, so with supply constraints along with a turbulent world, it's value will surely only increase. AAU, in theory, is in the right place.

Sorry for the rant, but i cannot sit back listening to garbage whilst so many lives on both sides are destroyed because of one megalomaniac.
