It hasn't panned out how I expected either, but some factors that I hadn't counted on, such as COVID, the war in Ukraine and more severe US sanctions on Cuba affected the outcome. The result appears less bad after taking all that into account. The future should be less affected by those things and the price of gold/silver looks like it is trending up.
