Flipping, for free carry. Its just part of business.
Better as last time when there was some said sticky fingers, unlikely to flip. That comes when it is someone who is prepared to put more on the table, increase their exposure as they see belief that are close enough to the starters pistol to make more or multiples for a higher distribution. They take on that risk, for their belief of a higher return.
But many sophs (new) are just taking the free carry, why not. Eliminate the risk. And repeat again, here, or elsewhere. Unless, placement is into a news event, that is likely to re-rate, and then they can flip into margins above.
So, always, how much to who ? the no news flipper ? (rabbit) to the wait for news event (tortoise) ?
