The thing that bothers me about this annnouncement (which is positive, make no mistake) is that a "collaboration" with no mention of financials, usually means that both parties are covering their own costs, and only if the initial, self-funded research program yields anything interesting, will a commercial arrangement come into play. Very odd given the recent deck chair reshuffling to save cash!
