I attended today's GM along with some 15 others. Mark Rodda chaired the meeting.
Roger Mason (RM) gave a brief summary of activities and today's announcement. After the meeting he chatted about more technical details with myself and another geo attendee.
As is the norm for such meetings ASX disclosure rules mean material issues can't be discussed. Add to this Rio's disclosure policies.....
==================
Today's Announcement
5 of 12 targets tested warrant further follow up. Targets 24-6, 28 and 29 which are in an cluster in, and around what appears to be a dome.
There is no open file information of prior drilling in this area. Perhaps some work has been done but not reported. The lack of drilling of a domal (think Telfer like) target seems surprising. RM did mention access was problematic with sand dunes.
XRF analysis conducted gives pathfinder elements which may help vector into mineralisation, but not Au.
The slim line AC drilling program is gradually working it's way north with work begun near Minyari for logistical reasons (paraphrased RM).
AZY were in the process of doing a POW and heritage survey for the northern tenement when Rio "said" they have done it already. I don't know details but apparently at least access over Rio's tenement is included.
RM said anomalies 43 and 44 were originally left off because they were on the margins of the survey.
The proposed AEM survey will focus on the area SW of Minyari to Havieron. More details will probably be announced as plans are firmed up.

Citadel
AZY back as operator because they will probably deliver more meters and coverage with their lower overheads - .simplistic?
2019 GAIP program on top of 2018 AEM and 2016/7 IP because targets may include a range that responds better to certain methods. AEM more massive sulphides +- magnetics (Winu/Magnum/Havieron?), IP for disseminated sulphides +- magnetics (Winu??), Magnetics and subtle IP (Calibre). Whether or not Rio found GAIP effective over Winu is not stated but to do a 620 sq Km speaks loudly that it does.
Why GAIP? There are issues with near surface IP features that are possibly better resolved with GAIP - fresh water, palaeochannels +- clay which cause false positives and or mask basement anomalies. Depth penetration by GAIP (150-200m) is not necessarily as good as previous methods (300+?m).
I didn't push about the lack of GAIP coverage around Calibre Magnum but previous Dipole and other surveys were apparently considered adequate.
Rio are interested to evaluate Calibre - RM. This comment, as part of Rio's regional interest to Winu - no detail.
=============================================
Winu.
RM has seen satellite imagery of Winu drilling and "waved his arms" about what was visible. My interpretation of this:
Some 3.5 Kms of along strike drilling.
Up to 1Km of EW drilling but quite sparse to the east.
As shown in the sections I posted and as RM also mentioned there may be a northerly plunge to mineralisation at Winu.
=========================
Strong interest at recent 121 presentation in London.
Problems for GCY, DCN and others have shaken confidence in this sector so AZY can best respond with good drill hits. No guarantee even that will help, but some 30-50Km of drilling is possible on the tenements. (30Km planned, - for more if positive results).
