A quick check on some recent raisings for peer companies by Hartleys is revealing;
NML - $6m placement at 7.5 cents/share. Last traded price was 8.5 cents/share (12% discount)
BAT - $5m placement at 2.5 cents/share. Last traded price was 3.1 cents/share (19% discount)
FEX - $1.75m placement at 5.5 cents/share. Last traded price was 5.7 cents/share (4% discount)
GMR -$2.25m placement at 1.3 cents/share. Last traded price was 1.6 cents/share (19% discount)
AZY - $5.1m placement at 1.9 cents/share. Last traded price was 2.4 cents/share (21% discount)
GMR and BAT are in Africa so the discount is probably warranted. The others are all Aussie. No prizes for guessing who won the pineapple.
Don't know who Discovery is so didn't add them to the mix.
