I do wonder if the reality of the money required to do that has hit home once Nick took the reins. Take over deals don't happen fast, so this has likely been in the works for a long time.
The market being what it is, currently it's a bad time to be going cap in hand for money anywhere, so maybe in the current circumstances this is the best option.
Can't help but wonder what the SP might have looked like in a few years though, especially after today's announcement.
