Seriously, getting seduced by some KKR spruiker like some school child following a stranger offering candy. Bet there were some very expensive lunches involved. And these people are paid millions every year TO RUN A BANK AND TAKE CARE OF OUR MONEY.

Maybe they'll be ok if they can just stick to managing risk from here (you know, like a banker) and someone hides the Capital Management lolly jar away for the next decade.
