I think today its merely just becomes a yield play with 12 months clarity on payout confirmed by CEO,,,,, 160/2450 6.5% plus franking,,,worry about any possible fall in profits or a change in the payout later I suppose............. if he hadn't of said that (seems others knew it before 11.27) then there wouldn't have been this much support by the yielders ...........
When your results start to fall or your growth stalls or falls, just do a Telstra,,,talk about your dividends that fall after the one you haven't paid...............
Its becoming an interesting concept.
