There is no need for it. Sigh.
Also, the 'range' is too high for my liking. CBA got $2Bn, WITHOUT THE GENERAL PUBLIC at 3.4....
Surely we can get $750M at <(2.8?) WITH the general public?!
Sigh.
Oh well, this will be good *IF* ANZ spend it. If we just have more excess capital, I won't be particularly happy... but, if we are actually using it, aggresivly, then okay.
Furthermore, $750M is small enough... lets just hope it doesn't do a CBA and raise $2Bn and have billions just sitting in excess capital.
Finally, 3.2% or so above BBSW isn't enough to make me invest, I want a return higher than 8%:).
