Also, as an aside, is there a reliable (and free) source of marketwide metrics like the P/E ratio of the ASX200 as a whole?
The RBA used to include that info in their Chart Pack, but not anymore.
https://www.marketindex.com.au/statistics does provide a regularly updated Div Yield / PE Ratio / E Yield for the All Ords (similar to the ASX200).
Alternatively, https://www.ssga.com/au/en_gb/individual/etfs/funds/spdr-sp-asx-200-fund-stw gives you the equivalent info relative to the SPDR S&P/ASX200 ETF, which tracks the ASX200 index.
For what it’s worth, I am currently using a FY20 EPS assumption of 400A$ for the ASX200.
