NOT a great deal for DPF either.
DPF has performed very well over many years with double digit growth per annum over past 5 years. Why would DPF want the B grade office assets in AOF and the sharemarket volatility ? Reason I own DPF is for unlisted property diversification away from stockmarket. If I want a listed REIT
I would buy Dexus for income or Goodman for growth but not AOF.
I have voted NO and I suspect plenty others will too. Doubt the merger will proceed and today's announcement confirms my doubt.
