i would have logically thought that whoever was designing the gas plant would have had an analysis of the type of gas there was. so as far as i am concerned, the problem is in the design. i have already stated;
Gas quality Sole it appears that is is a difference between the gas from Gippsland and Otway. when i spoke to a scientist who is familiar with both and explained that Coopers was having trouble with foaming he said that the quality of gas from Gippsland had a higher methane to co2 ratio than Otway and it is this lack of co2 that will cause it to foam. i don't have the answer but at least this explains why there is a foam issue!
