The issue Victoria could have the cheapest gas in Australia if not for the opposition of the Victorian government, the fact that industry leaving the state is yet to resonate with the Victorian government that jobs will go interstate or disappear for good.
Labor Federally have finally admitted what we have all know that gas the only cheap flexible transition option we have, gas turbines could have been located at the site of the old Hazlewood power station where gas and easy connection were already on site.
